Your responses to these questions must be the same as your responses in the “Report Details” page in PERT.

The Practical Experience Requirements (PER) cover both technical and enabling competencies. This tool is your go-to support to reporting your technical competencies. It's designed to supplement and improve your reporting experience when you report your technical experience through the Experience Verification Route (EVR) in the Practical Experience Reporting Tool (PERT). By using this tool, you will be able to map your work duties to the relevant competency sub-areas; gauge your proficiency levels; and get clarity on what to write in PERT.
Follow the instructions in each section, then generate a PDF to upload to your practical experience report in PERT. The PDF will support the content in your PERT report. There is no change to the process within PERT. For example, your supervisor will still need to verify the accuracy of your report, which will include the content in the PDF.
This tool is exclusively for CPABC EVR candidates. If you transfer to another province to fulfill your practical experience reporting, the experience reported using this tool may not be accepted, or it may be reassessed to ensure that it adheres to that province's regulations and reporting requirements.
The CPA Profession takes academic integrity and plagiarism seriously. Please ensure you are complying with PER 3.1.7 Academic Integrity.
